How much does skip hire software cost?

SkipRoute is £199/month for 1-4 users (office staff and drivers), then +£35 per additional user. All prices exclude VAT.

What is included in every SkipRoute plan?

Every SkipRoute plan includes the full feature set: job scheduling, digital waste transfer notes, customer email notifications, route optimisation, customer booking portal, analytics dashboard, permit tracking, AI-powered scheduling, QuickBooks & Sage integration, and council permit submissions. The only difference between plans is the number of users included.

What happens if SkipRoute is not the right fit?

We run a fit check in week 6 after you have had four weeks using SkipRoute live. If you have used the system properly and it still is not right for your operation, we can end the agreement and refund your first payment.

How does the 24-month agreement work?

After your demo, you sign a 24-month agreement and make the first payment to begin onboarding. Your software price is locked against annual increases for the full term. Payment two starts six weeks after signup, then monthly thereafter.

Do I need to pay extra for the driver app?

No. The SkipRoute driver app is included in every plan at no extra cost. Your drivers can view their daily schedule, get navigation to site, capture photo proof, and update job statuses — all from their phone.

Is SkipRoute ready for digital waste tracking?

Yes. SkipRoute already generates compliant digital waste transfer notes and is designed to integrate with Defra's Digital Waste Tracking Service. The rollout is phased: permitted waste receiving sites from October 2026, then carriers, brokers and dealers from October 2027.

Are there any hidden fees or setup costs?

No. The monthly software price you see is the price you pay, plus VAT and any agreed hardware or SIM charges. Free demo, onboarding support, and training calls are included.
