Common questions

Pricing FAQ

How much does skip hire software cost?

For eligible requests received by 30 September 2026, SkipRoute's introductory base rate is £199/month plus VAT and includes the first 4 users. The standard new-customer base price is £220/month plus VAT. Additional users are £35/month plus VAT each.

What is included in every SkipRoute plan?

Every SkipRoute plan includes the full feature set: job scheduling, digital waste transfer notes, customer email notifications, route optimisation, analytics dashboard, permit tracking, AI-powered scheduling, QuickBooks & Sage integration, and council permit submissions. The only difference between plans is the number of users included.

How does the free trial work?

Request a free trial and our team will call to understand your operation and configure the full system. Your 14-day trial starts only when setup is complete and you confirm you are ready. No payment card is required, the trial does not convert automatically, and there is no obligation to continue.

What happens after the trial?

If you choose to continue, your paid subscription is 30-day rolling. The £199 introductory base rate is protected for 24 months while you remain continuously subscribed, but that price protection is not a 24-month commitment.

Do I need to pay extra for the driver app?

No. The SkipRoute Android and iOS driver app is included in every plan at no extra cost. Drivers can view their daily schedule, navigate to site, capture photo proof and update job statuses from their phone or tablet.

Is SkipRoute ready for digital waste tracking?

SkipRoute creates structured digital waste transfer notes and is designed for future integration with Defra's Digital Waste Tracking Service. The rollout is phased: permitted and licensed receiving sites in England and Wales from October 2026, then collectors, carriers, brokers and dealers from October 2027.

Are there any hidden fees or setup costs?

No. The monthly software price you agree is the price you pay, plus VAT and any agreed hardware or SIM charges. Trial setup, onboarding support, and training calls are included.
